PA Labs

New Testing Available:

PA Labs is pleased to announce that we are now offering Vaginitis Panel testing.

Vaginitis results in approximately 15 million office visits per year in the USA. Bacterial Vaginitis and Trichomoniasis are associated with pre-term delivery and low birth weight babies. Effective October 18, 2006, PA Labs is pleased to offer DNA probe technology to identify and differentiate Trichomonas vaginalis, Gardnerella vainalis and Candida species from a single swab sample using the BD Affirm™ VPIII test.

For more information please view the associated PDF file.

Personal Access Testing (PAT):

SAVE MONEY WITH PAT! PAT allows you to save money and receive the lab tests you need with or without a physician's order. Our most commonly ordered tests are $7 - $40. For more information, refer to our PAT webpage and/or our PAT Brochure.

Health Fair Profile (HFP):

What can $15 buy you? How about insight into your current state of health. The following tests are included in the HFP: Lipids (cholesterol), triglycerides, HDL - "good" cholesterol, LDL - "bad" cholesterol, Iron, Glucose, Liver Function, and Kidney Function. Visit HFP webpage for more information.

Heart Disease Risk Measurement:

Visit a PA Labs' Patient Service Center to get a Heart Disease Risk Measurement. This 10-year heart disease risk assessment includes a complete lipid profile blood test. Using data from the Framingham Heart Study, test results, a patient's blood pressure, and other risk factors are analyzed to estimate the risk of developing heart disease or having a heart attack in the next 10 years.

Heart disease is the number one killer of men and women in the US. For example, if a person has a 20% Risk Score, it means that 20 out of 100 people with this level of risk may have a heart attack in the next 10 years. For more information, refer to our Heart Disease Risk Measurement Brochure.
